Little is known about the Great War, other than it was fought between Sphinxes and western dragons.They are believed to have wiped each other out, but there were rumours that a few Sphinxes survived by hiding within the human population. The turning of Michelle and the arrival of the Bloodcarver confirmed that there are still survivors.
