The manticore is a monster which has a lion's body, possibly a man's head, and poisonous barbs protruding from its tail. Manticores are known to have especially sharp teeth and unique vocal chords, which allow them to speak in a language that sounds like music or trumpeting. They are generally distrusted in Skin Deep's mythological community.
