Janice Jocasta is the mother of Michelle Jocasta. She was seen briefly at the beginning of Orientations, and Michelle has emailed her several times throughout the story arc. Not much is known about Janice, other than that she was married to Michael Jocasta before he died. She is assumed to be human.
Kory has revealed that she is a teacher at the local public school.
By Janice's second appearance she has been redesigned with Kory stating "I made that design up on the fly all those years ago and I never liked it very much, so I’ve tweaked her design a little for this story."
