Depending on the size of the avalon, there may be a shop, restaurant, or even homes. They are hidden away from unknowing humans, often in unused buildings. They vary in size, but provide a safe haven for magical creatures who need a respite from hiding in the human world.
The name “Avalon” comes from the island King Arthur is said to be slumbering at.
